Colts president Bill Polian said Thursday that he still expects Wayne to start against the 49ers this week. We'd feel a lot better about his status if he can return to practice Friday. Assuming he does play, we have him ranked as the No. 3 fantasy option at WR.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the team "sounds optimistic" that Wayne will be available Sunday against San Francisco. The game has a 1PM ET start, so we'll know early whether or not Wayne is active. Wayne is on pace for 104 catches, 1,446 yards, and a career-most 14 touchdowns this season.

Wayne probably isn't 100 percent, but he must be in fantasy lineups against a leaky Niners' secondary that is demoting Nate Clements for this game. Wayne is a top-5 receiver play this week.
